That’s an interesting point, Aimee. There’s so much stoicism in technology and startups that while failing is valued because it means you’ve paid your dues and put yourself out there, looking for support or community is seen as weakness. Why aren’t you good enough to do this on your own? Why can’t you teach yourself, coach yourself, help yourself? It doesn’t lead to growth, and in fact, it creates alienation that might actually facilitate more failure.
